"Restyled Chic Combat boots"
Started early 80s,,combat boots was a important item in punk fashion. These were the basic uniform for punk kids, often worn with "pegged" jeans - fold over the excess, and roll up from the bottom, or make narrow with safety pins.
And, now 2010 Fall, its getting stronger, much chic, re-stylized in fashion.
You can get any length of combat - lace up style boots with any pairs of jeans, dresses, leggings, tights, skirts and even Harlem pants might work.
